SHARPENING SERVICE PROTOCOLS | *READ CAREFULLY*
Call ahead and make an appointment for large quantities of knives.
Knives must be fully cleaned and sanitized before dropping off.
- Write an itemized list of the number of knives you are dropping off, size and description with your name and phone number.
No serrated knives, NO KNIFE BLOCKS, CLEAN KNIVES ONLY.
We will text you when the knives are ready for pickup. Turnaround is 24-48hrs for standard sharpening. Repairs and restorations may be longer.
Standard Kitchen Knives - $10 minimum for all knives 8" and under ($1.50/inch after 8")
Single-bevel blades - $20 minimum and up
Cleavers - $15 - $30
Kitchen Scissors - $15 - $30
Obscure and unique non-culinary related knives are subject to a premium rate.
** Dirty Knives - $10+ cleaning fee per knife for all soiled and dirty blades (i.e. dried food, grease, etc.) Make sure your knives are CLEAN!
REPAIR & RESTORATION WORK
Broken tips, chips, re-edging, and rust removal start at an additional $10 and up. Price is contingent upon the condition and severity of damage.
Please contact us for quotes on large repairs, restorations, or unconventional pieces.
Up to to a 48 hour turnaround is standard - but it may take more or less time, depending on the job and how many knives we have ahead of you. This is a first come, first serve basis service. We will text you as soon as your knives are ready.
Saturday drop-off will be available for pick-up since the following week since we are closed Sundays.

OUT-OF-TOWNERS: APPOINTMENTS AND SHIP-INS
*If you are driving in from out of town to have knives sharpened, please call make an appointment prior to drop-off. Same day service will not be available for you. MAIL IN SERVICE IS ALSO SUBJECT TO OUR ABOVE-MENTIONED COVID SANITATION POLICIES.
Customers looking to ship knives in for service, please ship all out-of-town knives to be serviced to our New Orleans location. Turnaround is up to 5 days after we receive the package (contingent on quantity of knives and level of service), then the package will ship back out to the customer USPS Priority mail. You are welcomed to email us a pre-paid return label if you have a particular courier preference.
If you would like insurance or a signature upon your returned knives, please request that additionally. It is not included in your return shipping. Please see our shipping policies for details.
Please email us an itemized list of what knives you're including in the package (as well as a packing slip inside the box), details on exactly what you would like serviced (i.e. sharpening, repairs, etc), return shipping address, contact and payment info. Make sure knives are safely and thoroughly packaged well when shipped.
Once we have received and serviced your knives, we will call you for payment, then ship them back immediately and email you tracking for the package.
