Tsubaki oil — pressed from the seeds of the Japanese camellia flower (Camellia japonica) — has been used for centuries to protect and preserve fine Japanese knives. Lightweight, odorless, and food-safe, it forms a thin protective barrier on the blade that guards against rust, oxidation, and moisture damage without affecting the flavor of your food.
245mL of pure camellia (tsubaki) oil
Convenient spray bottle for even, controlled application
Food-safe formula — no additives or synthetic compounds
How to Use
After washing and thoroughly drying your knife, hold the blade over a clean surface.
Give the spray bottle a quick spritz along the length of the blade — one or two passes is all you need.
Use a soft cloth or paper towel to spread the oil evenly across both sides of the blade, including the spine.
Wipe away any excess so only a thin, barely-there film remains.
Apply after each use for carbon steel knives, or before long-term storage for any knife in your collection.
Care & Storage
Store upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Keep the nozzle clean and capped between uses to prevent clogging.
